Sacramento Kings from NBA teams start mining Ethereum

Sacramento Kings from the NBA teams announced that they started mining Ethereum under a charity program (MiningForGood). For Ethereum mining, the team will use Nvidia mining equipment from MiningStore.

The Sacramento Kings will use it to support the people in the income region that they will receive in the framework of the charity program.

In 2014, the Sacramento Kings became the first NBA team to accept Bitcoin as a payoff at the store and season tickets.

The Sacramento Kings, which will run mining at their own Golden 1 Center, will work with MiningStore to set up the necessary equipment. Golden 1 Center has a solar panel roof that can generate electricity up to 1.2 megawatts.

About the Vivek Ranadive venture, the owner and president of the team, computer software entrepreneur and Tibco founder, said:

"We will not only build funding for the development and training of our workforce through MiningForGood, but also inspire new generation thinkers to create change in their communities and around the world. "

Such programs also make it possible for the team to be called the most innovative company in the field of sports. MiningStore founder John Paul Baric used the following statements about Sacramento Kings' commitment to innovation and their new collaboration:

"We are excited about working with a prospective organization looking for ways to create positive change through technology or sports."
